Dental Cleanings & Exams
Professional cleanings performed by a hygienist or dental assistant are as important to your dental health as daily brushing and flossing. Twice yearly dental check-ups and cleanings help catch problems when they are small and easier to treat. Left unattended, small treatable problems become worse and may require more extensive, expensive procedures to repair. During your exam, the dentist can also perform an oral cancer screening. Read More About Dental Checkups

Periodontal Health
One of the best ways to keep your gums from bleeding when you come in for a cleaning is to floss regularly. Brushing your teeth before or after flossing is less important than whether you floss or not. Read More About Gum Disease

Bruxism (teeth grinding) can cause moderate to severe long-term damage to teeth. Constant grinding wears down the surface of the tooth, exposing the soft dentin beneath the enamel. Read More About Nightguards

Tooth Colored Fillings
Fillings are used to restore areas of your tooth affected by decay. Dr. Immel uses both amalgam (silver) and composite (tooth-colored) materials to “fill in” the surface of the tooth after all decay has been removed. Read More About Fillings

Dental Crowns & Bridges
Crowns are used to restore teeth severely damaged by fracture or decay. After the tooth surface is cleaned and prepared, the crown is placed to cover the remainder of the tooth.

Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth in both a cosmetic and functional fashion. A bridge structure is one or more artificial teeth anchored in place by natural teeth, crowns or implants, on each side of the bridge. Read More About Crowns & Bridges

Root Canal Therapy
A “root canal,” or endodontic therapy, is a procedure available to save a tooth that is infected and would otherwise require extraction. Read More About Root Canals

Dental Implants
Dental implants are the closest dental restoration to your original teeth. They are natural-looking and provide the functionality of a normal tooth. Read More About Dental Implants

Dentures & Partials
Dentures are a “replacement” option for missing teeth. There are two variations of dentures: partial dentures and full dentures. The difference between the two lies in how many natural teeth remain. Read More About Dentures & Partials

A tooth extraction is the procedure done to remove a tooth that is damaged beyond repair from its socket in the jawbone. Extractions are also done to remove wisdom teeth that may be impacted or create future problems. Read More About Extractions

Cosmetic dentistry will give you healthy, radiant teeth. It is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve confidence and make you want to share your smile. Dr. Immel has been restoring luster to teeth and confidence to smiles over the years.

Teeth Whitening
Bleaching, or whitening, is one of the easiest and most noticeable changes that you can make to improve the appearance of your smile. It is a non-invasive and simple dental treatment that will alter the color of your tooth enamel to make your smile look whiter and brighter. Read More About Cosmetic Bleaching

Porcelain Veneers
Tooth veneers are a popular cosmetic dentistry technique for creating a beautiful smile. They consist of thin sections of durable porcelain that are custom made for the unique shape of your teeth. Read More About Porcelain Veneers

Composite Dental Bonding
Bonding is a procedure where a tooth-colored composite material is applied to a tooth, shaped, allowed to harden, then polished. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. Read More About Composite Dental Bonding

Many patients have had traumatic experiences in dentistry or have other anxieties about their treatment. Dr. Immel strives to meet your individual comfort needs. For our patients with anxiety, sedation dentistry may be the answer. We offer oral (conscious) sedation as an option for our patients.

Oral sedation dentistry allows Dr. Immel to create a safe and comfortable dental experience for patients who avoid the dentist out of fear. With sedation, we can work more effectively by helping you become as comfortable as possible using well established and proven methods. The sedation medication Valium is administered at our offices, under the care of an assistant.

This type of dental care does require that you have a driver to bring you home from your appointment, as it takes several hours for the medication to completely wear off. For more information about oral sedation at the office of Victor Immel, DMD, PS, please contact our office today!
